Not all prom venues in Manchester are created equal. Old Trafford is home to a wide range of stunning event spaces, ranging in capacity from 100, perfect for small leavers’ parties, right up to 650 – ideal for grad balls and proms for bigger year groups.
Each space has its own unique look and feel. Enjoy the cityscape of Manchester’s sparkling skyline from the Evolution Suite, or treat your students to a panoramic pitch-side setting with the iconic Trafford Suite, where the photo ops are endless.

160Evolution Suite
A two-level suite where the pitch and the Salford Quays skyline both come into view, Evolution holds up to 160 guests, so it suits a smaller year group looking for something striking. -
270International Suite
The biggest space in our line-up, the International Suite has capacity for 270, with ground-floor access that makes arrivals easy for students, parents and guests with mobility needs. -
120Trafford Suite
Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the pitch in the Trafford Suite. With room for up to 120 guests, this space is a popular choice for dinner and dancing.
Our prom packages
Planning a prom that does your students justice has never been easier. Our packages for proms in Manchester include a 2-3 course dinner or a buffet menu, a cashless bar, on-site security to make sure the event stays private and complimentary Wi-Fi. Room hire also comes with a DJ and a dance floor, so you can keep the night going and your students can really blow off some steam.
No time to dwell on the details? You’ll be assigned a dedicated event planner from the Old Trafford team, who runs point on all the different elements and is on hand to make sure it’s an unforgettable night.
Winning food and drink
Along with access to a historic space with a unique atmosphere, you’ll also enjoy delicious, sustainable catering your students are sure to love. Book a 2-3 course menu for a more traditional sit-down dinner, with options like roast chicken or succulent pork belly, or choose our buffet menu for loaded hot dogs and burgers. Getting here
The venue is quick and easy to reach by Metrolink, with the Old Trafford tram stop just a 5-minute walk from the stadium, and there’s official parking on site or the option to use a nearby park & ride. Want to make a night of it? Hotel Football is right next door, with plenty of other well-known hotel chains in Salford Quays and Manchester city centre.
